Ruben is a Creative Director with a background in Art, Design and Film making.

He's originally from Antwerp, Belgium where he studied Graphic Design and graduated with a Masters in Audiovisual Arts. He lived and worked in Athens, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh, Montreal and New York before landing in Los Angeles. 

He worked as a Creative Director on brands like Apple, Hulu and The North Face,
and is currently full-time at Google where he focuses on films, concepts and branding for Events and Experiences. He also co-founded a small design studio, the Coconuts, where he brings his love for typography and illustration to funky lil' branding projects for friends and friends-of-friends.

When he's not working, you can find him painting or surfing small waves.
